Our Services

Wills & Trusts

Probably the worst decision any of us can make is to die without having a valid Will in place.

Writing a Will that’s right for your family doesn’t have to be time-consuming or expensive.

You don’t have to leave your home to have an expert Will prepared, as we will visit you.

Read more on our Wills and Trusts page.

Probate

Probate is not always needed when somebody dies.

If you’re not sure whether you will need a Grant of Probate, please get in touch and we’ll answer your questions and explain what you will need to do.

Read about:

  • when a Grant of Probate is needed
  • what happens without a Will
  • what is estate administration
  • what are the duties of an executor

We can help you get a Grant of Probate and administer the estate of the person who has died, to get the money to the beneficiaries as quickly as possible.

See our guidance on costs.

Lasting Power of Attorney

How to give your family the written authority to deal with financial institutions and government bodies on your behalf and allow them to make decisions for you if necessary.

If you are likely to need a Lasting Power of Attorney, don’t put off making it. It’s never too soon to make a Lasting Power of Attorney, but it could be too late.

Lasting Powers of Attorney are currently taking an average of 73 days to be registered by the Office of the Public Guardian. This is twice the target time.

Read more on our Lasting Power of Attorney page.

Estate Administration

Read about:

  • What is estate administration
  • What happens without a Will
  • What are the duties of an executor.

We can help you administer the estate and make sure all legal issues are dealt with so that you are not exposing yourself to risk from official bodies or beneficiaries.

Go to our Estate Administration page to read more.
