Where should you store your Will?
There are a number of options.
- your bank. You can expect to be charged for leaving your Will in the safe custody of your bank;
- deposit the Will with the Probate Registry. There is a one off fee of £20 to use this service;
- keep the Will at home in a fireproof box or safe;
- we can hold the Will for you without charge.
If you choose any option other than keeping the Will at home, consider registering it on the National Will Register so that your family will always be able to find it.
